Boredom this evening has led me to think a lot about this past year, and one thing I can say for sure is it was full of surprises. Shit that really just came out of nowhere and had a huge impact on me. So now, I’m sitting on my couch in my new(ish) apartment thinking about how I have to go back to my full-time (what?!) job tomorrow, and I feel like what better way to honor all of things I didn’t see coming by making a list of 5 songs that somehow found my ears this year and never left. All are from artists I’d never heard before or just simply never had any significance on me until now. Enjoy.
